Need Your Opinion! - Share your thoughts and experience

I have a website which consists of funny/interesting videos.
On the top of each page I have a scrolling text <marquee> TEXT </marquee>. I wanted your advice what to write.
Some sound like its "too much begging" and some other ones are totally the opposite. I would like more suggestions.

Here is what I came up with for several pages:
1)Please let all your friends know about www.example.com
2)Download our large collection of X video clips.
3)You are welcomed to link to our site.
4)Share our video clips with your friends.
5)Let your friends enjoy our video clips.
5)Support our website by sharing our video clips
6)Welcome to www.example.com
7)... any other ideas?

I would like to convince visitors to post on threads/forums.

Probably not what you want to hear but delete this:

<marquee> TEXT </marquee>

I hate sites with any scrolling text especially if its scolliing horizontally. If you ask most anyone they will tell you the same thing. If your clips are worth sharing with anyone they will, you don't need to ask them.

Ditto the sugegstion and the comments.

If you decide to post straight text, I'd go with #2. Better yet, #7 and write some compelling content for each video instead of just a random sentence.

<marquee> TEXT </marquee>.

Please dump the marquee text! That's so 1996-ish and it appeals to almost no website visitor.

But if you have to use one, I'd go for #2.

thanks guys! I think I could write about the video itself but Ill go with #2 and see what happens or Ill just remove it. thanks.
