Hey all. I'm very much green to this whole webmaster deal, so forgive me if my question seems a little stupid. Anyway, if I were to say, host an online group and/or a forum complete with a webpage, where would I begin to look for a webmaster? I would need someone to handle all the technical aspects of operation. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to recruit via the site (I know it's not allowed) I'm simply asking what process would need to be done. Any advice?

Hello and welcome to WW! Recruiting is allowed, but limited to: [webmasterworld.com...]

As for your request: Depending on the amount of professionality you are looking for, you can hire anything between a highschoolkid and a professional agency.

A general recommendation: Buy local if you want a long-term relationship with your webmaster. Ask for references and call them up. Ask about the support that the webmaster has given.

Agencies usually provide more accountability than individuals, since they are often afraid to get a bad reputation.
