Fight against an email "solution company"

They use my first name & my biz email address

I keep receiving mails spoofed as originated by myself
I know that it could be the only place it is send to, but it also could be all over the place.
Out of curiosity I G for this "email solution" company and it seems to be a real entity.
But I am “scare” to click on any of that “possibly corp.” links?
I have seen a note form Mc Affee that shows some concern about it.

Do you have any experience with them?
If it’s a real corp. in the US do I have any legal recourse?

Note: all my sites’ SPF records are setup.

henry0, chances are very good this spam doen't even COME from the email solution company and they are being used just like you are. Do you know how to read mail headers? This might be helpful in expaing some of this, although it will be no more helpful in tracking down the culprits. Most of them operate from offshore or hacked servers.

I feel not too bright, I am so obset that I del them from the server before they reach me and never tried to save one and perform a post mortem
it won't be long before the next candidate knocks at the door.

I would recommend against getting too upset about this.

Simply because there is plenty more where that came from.

Spammers have wised up big time. The days of us poor saps being able to track them down, simply from email headers are long gone. Most spam these days is sent from zombie PCs, pwn3d by spammers' malware. Even if you were able to track it right to the machine that sent it, you'd be SOL.

Your best bet is to shore up your spam filters, and use a DEA service like Spamex (Note to mods: Can we put up a link to Spamex? They are about as reputable as they come. I'm a bit gun-shy right now, because my links are going down like bowling pins).

Not for me; it replaces you address by another one and so on..
As such I cannnot do business with that, I need an address that is my biz card address and not one that will change anytimes it is improperly used
but for a non biz user it could be a good bet.

I am very close to decide setting it up so I will receive only pre approved mails

and will set up a trash address that I will daily check once only.

Wish I could be more positive.

I am still steamed at Internic, from about ten years ago, when they sold their DB to spammers.

I eventually wound up having to throw out an email address with mucho mojo, because I was up to about 300 spams per day.

I really despise spammers. I have recently been getting spam from reputable places, such as <snip>. I know they are spam, because of Spamex.

Here is what I saved

Spam detection software, running on the system "That is my business site…..com", has
identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original message
has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or label
similar future email. If you have any questions, see
the administrator of that system for details.
