I'm about to build a new website and I would like to ask you webmasters experts what is better in this situation:

my secure page will looks like [mydomain.com,...] same as my main domain [mydomain.com...] . Could this cause a problem in seacrh engines? Should I use a subdomain or a completely different domain name?
What do you recommend?

sorry for my english..and thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have the same content on both sites? If so you could be looking at some problems with the search engines. They might look at it as duplicate content. You would probably want to use robots.txt to make sure only one version got spidered.
