As part of A/B consumer testing is it viable to use a site like stumbleupon as an option for A/B testing , as they provide users the option of giving thumbs up / down
and you can now buy xx number of page views to stumblers quite cheap , can it be used a form of A/B testing when changing pages or the focus of pages on a daily basis to give some quick cheap A/B testing
or do others have any other better ideas

A/B testing has always been a favourite of mine, but implementing it has not always been the easiest, depending upon the site/setup.

I'd be intersted to know what other folks think.

How do you go about A/B testing?

Could community sharing be a way of testing?

Well I have now tried it just for 100 bucks but it is invaluable and I will now try on a number of other sites

For anyone just creating a new website could be invaluable

give you an idea tried 250 impressions on a page with design A then changed to design B and another 250 impressions

then looked at the percentage of thumbs up to thumbs down with the same content for different design

I did then take it back to Design A as part of the experiment
and the figures told me a lot

Could also be used I suspect for add placement / ctr etc
