I think we've talked about this before but I can't find the thread(s). Basically, I'm wondering if there's any software that will enable me to throttle my broadband connection to dialup speeds for testing purposes. I'd prefer to have an application running on my computer than use some of the proxy services that are available for this type of thing.

Do a search in google for "Sloppy - the slow proxy"

It works and it's free!

Another vote for NetLimiter. It's cheap, powerful and easy to use.
