Good! I am seeing an increase in spam emails again :(

spam is really up and down at the moment, who knows whats really going on. Last month I was getting 30+ a day, start of this month I got none and now im getting around 10 every day...

Its interesting, I hope governments pull more money into catching spam gangs etc, however I would rather less wars and more health and children care etc etc

Now just arrest some of those darn stock spammers :(

Back on topic - What are the legal implications about one country spamming anothers users?

Our servers are catching thousands of emails every day in the spam filters. Still a load get through - viagara, stocks, cracked software, etc.

YEAH! I am glad they finally caught some of these jerks! I get over 200 spams a day even with filters, I hope they can catch more!

Looks like these guys were running a phishing operation of good size. They were no regular spammer who like spam for 'Viicoddin'.

If you steal even a one dollar item from a store, you get into so much legal trouble. In certain cases you could be in jail for a long time. Why is it that we have such still laws for shoplifting (and many other petty crimes), while spammers get away with anything? Is it just that some of the spammers are so-called direct marketers, who have a lot of clout in Washington and do not want anything to be done to controlling email marketing?

Yep- they'll likely switch to servers in China and Eastern Europe like all the other SPAMMERS have done.

There won't be any slow down in South Korean spam which is considerable right now. The only reason these fellows were caught is they probably pushed the enevelope with US networks and complaints were filed to do something about it.

Stock spam, Pharmacology Spam, Phishing Spam, I get hundreds and hundreds per day and it appears that must be ok cause all I ever hear about is the pervasiveness of porn spam, of which I could count on my fingers the number of those that I have gotten in the last week.

So it is ok to steal someones identity, and it is ok to con someone into buying crappy stock and it is ok to push illegal drugs.

Interesting.........and to wonder why our world is going to hell.

We all get spam. Just please be careful where we lay the blame.

Someone started up late yesterday afternoon.

Have received more than 500 bounces on a non existent address of one of my domains since then and it's still counting.
