Hosting with PHP support, modern free database engine support like MySQL or PostgreSQL Web server with SSL installation ability. Payment gateways whatever you like, depends from shop software that you will choose. There are many of them - Authorize.net, LinkPoint and etc. Domain zone depends from your future target market - international - .COM, only US - .US or .COM, UK - co.uk and etc.

I use Cubecart for my client´s needs. If you need any help with it PM me, but it´s pretty easy to install and has nice features (look for the page, they´ve got them listed).
