User in UK says he's getting a Mcafee Trojan Alert

when viewing my site...

A user of my site called to say he's been getting a Trojan warning from his Mcafee for the last few weeks when he's visited our site. Said he's gotten it from separate computers in different areas.

I've taken a look at the home page source code, and don't see anything amiss.

I'm curious if this is an overzealous mcafee filter getting triggered,-and if so what I can do to change it, or if it is an actual problem with the site that I can't find.

Anyone use mcafee or had something similar happen?

Have you tried taking a look at what the McAfee SiteAdvisor [siteadvisor.com] has to say about your site? It may not be related, but... it's a response, at least!

Thanks for the link Balam,

Didn't find any problems there. I'm wondering if it isn't a false positive on the UK version of their software or if my user's computer is infected with something else that might trigger the warning...

It might be the user computer infected.

I could be wrong, but if either of the above is true, it seems to me the other is likely to be false.

It ended up being his computer was infected-as were the computers of his immediate family. He called Mcaffee and apparently they directed him to an update which took care of the issue.

Whew...
