Cable modem + DSL modem at the house

What are the best ways to utilize two connections?

Our local DSL provider was offering a 3mb connection for $19.95 a month so I thought 20 bucks a month for connection insurance was a bargain.

For now, I'm using the faster dsl connection while the cable modem sits waiting for an outage. What are the different ways to utilize both connections on one home network?

You need to use a Multi-WAN router or other device to accomplish this.

Thanks. Guess I should have put this in WM HDWR. Pretty exciting, beats letting the modem sit dormant until a wire swap or having to deal with two different home networks:
