I have had an e-commerce site up for nearly five years. The vast majority of my links are reciprocal and I do have a number of links, but they are relevant to my topic. Here's my question: When I put the name of my company in Google, the number of links have decreased, while the number of links in Yahoo has increased significantly. At first, I thought the numbers may just fluctuate, but now I'm not so sure. Could Google be penalizing me for some reason, or is this just a normal thing? Thanks.

Completely normal. Google has not shown accurate links information for years now - Yahoo! is better for accuracy.

Thank you - this is good to know. I always thought Google was the final word when it came to optimization and links.
