i have used software before but what can i use that actually hides my ip so i cant be traced by every single company on the net?

you could just surf using a proxy

is there anywhere i can visit to see an upto date list of proxys and the best way to set these up to use?

or is internet explorer and then?> tools the best way?

you can find proxies via your search engine of choice, I don't use IE so I have no idea how to set it once you find one
