I own a site which feeds leads to subscribers and engage and engage a part time web master but we are boith stumped as to how to resolve an issue at present for future advancement which i consider necessary.

The idea is to have all the leads generated by my web site automatically directed to the web sites of the subscribers and for those leads to be paid for on a click per lead basis.

however we need a tracking device for those clicks which would record daily ,weekly and monthly the number of clicks for invoicing purposes. This would be open for the subscribers to view individually to be able to verify the accuracy of their payment for those leads.

I suppose such a system would also identify multiple malacious/unwarranted clicks etc.

We need advise on the software avialble and ideas on how this would work in practice.

HELP PLEASE!

Depends on how much you want to do yourself. This can be as simple as setting-up redirects on your server and then using your existing log analyzer.

Basically, you want your links to go not directly to the subscriber's website, but to your own (or a third party service provider's site) so that the click can be recorded. No page is displayed - istead a redirect is sent back to the browser to send it to the subscriber's site.

I'd do a search on "click fraud detection" and/or "ppc software". You will find a number of solutions, free and commercial, from hosted services to software you can install on your server.

Also, check the "logging and tracking" forum here.
