I Need Help Fast! Please help!

When I try to use the programs on my website, i get these errors.

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not query config information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1015 Can't lock file (errno: 2)

SELECT * FROM phpbb_config

Line : 215
File : common.php

How do I fix it? I really need help, this is ruining my business for members. I am losing traffic and money. Please help. I am not good with MySQL so please give me step by step help. Admins, please don't move this to the PHP forum, I need this fixed tonight!

Hmm well you would probably get faster help if they DID move it to the php forum. Anyway there's little chance anyone can help you based on what you've provided, it looks to me like either your sql server has a problem or permissions on the database have somehow changed (hence "can't lock file.") That's all I'm getting out of it.

Is there anything specific to these errors in the phpBB documentation?

If you need it fixed tonight you probably need to call your programmer. Also the phpbb forums might be a good place for quick help, but don't expect tooo much hand holding for free if you need something done asap and aren't a programmer.
There is a chance that it's something seemingly unrelated, like your disk is full.

p.s. please use more descriptive titles than please help ;)

Okay, very sorry. I think it was a problem with my web providers server. It all is fixed now. Thank you.
