Using a blog as a website

Is this a good idea

Hi All,

After setting up a blog on blogger I've loved the idea of the quick changes I can make and got to wonder if it is possible to set up a blog on my own domain and use it as the main page of a business website. This way I could make very quick changes to the content, still use adsense
and link to static pages on my site. Is this idea a goer or a goner?

I've found it to be perfectly usable - not that I'm making vast amounts of money yet - on any sites where I'm using it. Wordpress and Movable Type can be customised so much that you can consider them to be CMS software more than just blogging software.
