I'm looking to set up a series of live, streaming videos in a high paying niche. I have the experts ready to go on video. I have interested advertisers. And I have the ability to get an audience.

How do I integrate advertising into a webcast like this? I run a live Q&A from my server (using openmeetings), what do I do for advertisers? Something more than holding up a sign in front of the webcam?

I'm suspicious that a simple ad at the front and end of the session is not sufficient.

I think that if you use the paid for version of Flowplayer you can create and serve in-stream ads via the Doubleclick (Google's) ad server. If I'm not mistaken that would be everything from animations, to banners, and of course, traditional video ads that can be clicked through and measured (logs/stats).
