Describing Videos On The Web Using schema.org Markup

Just in from the Google Webmaster Central Blog:

Videos are one of the most common types of results on Google and we want to make sure that your videos get indexed. Today, we're also launching video support for schema.org. Schema.org is a joint effort between Google, Microsoft and Yahoo! and is now the recommended way to describe videos on the web. The markup is very simple and can be easily added to most websites.

Absolutely!
I already use itemprop and itemscope with content such as articles.
I have no metrics but I noticed an improvement in page indexing.
I made my microdata markup dynamic so it is really a no brainer.

There are some errors on the page like the /div is marked as div.

However this is an interesting move. I have implemented reviews related markup on a client site recently and we have been very impressed with the prominence our listing is having on the results page. This encouraged me to try out more microdata markup.

I am now wondering how to know the effect of this video markup. May be this video will get featured on the results page now!
