Cant find anything on getting my videos to play on mobile

getting videos on my website to play on mobile deivce too

I use WordPress
FlowPlayer
I use AVS Video converter to convert my wmv files to FLV
FLV - HD Video 720p -(H.264, 4500 kbps, 1290x720, Original; MPEG-2/4/ Audio, 128 kbps)

the file extension is .flv video.flv

This video plays fine through flowplayer on wordpress...

this video does not play if you go to the site on a mobile phone.

on another website, when i view source the file extension of the video is also, .flv,, same as mine..
this video does in fact play on my mobile phone..
the url of the .flv file on the site which works on my phone, appears to be on rmtp server rmtp://etcetc.com/video.flv

why dont my flv files play on my phone, but theirs do.

Unfortunately i cannot provide links to either my site or the other at this time.

could someone point me in the right direction?

iphone 3gs, i understand not all phones are going to play but iv i could just get them to play on like the newer generation smart phones or something would be cool, and like the ipad..

mrmikeman, iPads and iPhones will not play Flash movies.

i am able to watch what i believe to be a flash movie though, let me find some suitable examples and try to get back to you on it, maybe its a different format that im not able to identify, i just see its a .flv file..

is there some kind of script/ tube script, that i could upload a wmv file too, and it will encode/convert to a format that will play on most phones, as well as be mostly compatible with most peoples computer/browser etc.. ?
ideally a free script ?
