I'm at the exploratory stages of adding videos to my site to increase traffic and hopefully get some link juice.

Before I go off spending hours and hours making one video only to do it all wrong, I have some questions that I hope someone here will be kind enough to answer.

I'm trying to increase traffic to particular widget pages, and doing so by using an incoming link in the video (if other sites were to pick up the video) to give the widget pages some link juice, and/or by having a clickable link back to the widget page in the video if it's hosted on Youtube.

First, is a link in a video that SE's can follow possible? Is it possible to embed a clickable link in a video? Third, is it possible to have these links embedded in such a way that someone using the video on his/her own site can't just strip away the link (as they so often do with articles)?

If it's possible to have a link that SE's can follow and the link can't be stripped out of the video, do other sites often post your videos, or do they just link to Youtube?

I have a lot more questions, but I'm hoping someone will reply to these first few.
