Different compression levels within the one video

is this possible?

I have a client who has insisted that in their promotional video, that we include a combined pan and zoom of the view of the horizon from their resort.

Only problem is, after getting the footage back..... if I edit the shot in(final cut pro)then export as a .swf file, the compression of the panning shot is terrible... far too jumpy, but if I don't compress the video... the file is far too large for web

I can not now go back, and shoot a slower pan.

Is their anyway I can create a flash movie, with different levels of video compression within the one file?

I do not know of any way to compress a Flash file with different levels. You may wish to compress different portions of the original and then edit them together before converting them to flash.
