I could not play windows media files from my server in the websites.

What could be the issue.

Likely to be that the MIME type is not set on the server.

it has been set for asf and asx formats. It has been playing for 2 years suddenly it stays connected and doesnt play

dukelips, have you tried to play it on other pc's besides your own?

Have you used the JW WMV Player?
