I need to add a scrolling overlay (a ticker display) to the footer of a largish number of FLV files, and I'm looking for software to do this. The features I need are:

1) FLV in/FLV out
2) Batch command line invocation

I assume that I will need to author the ticker in one program, then embed it into the video files with another. Is this accurate?

Unfortunnately, the attributes of the files into which ithe ticker will be embedded are not consistent. Some videos have different sizes and resolutions than others - will this make a batch embedding process difficult?
