I just hope YouTube doesn't change their design. I've done some reading about how to get people to your site from YouTube but how lazy is the typical web surfer? Very. Are they going to spend the time to type in that fifteen letter url they see on your vid?

Nope!

Will they remember your site?

Probably not.

I'm not sure how much emphasis I'm going to put into this, but so far I have about 5-10 direct referrals to my main site on approximately 50-100 direct views(stats not current yet) from YouTube videos. But the problem is; will they change their design down the road? Probably.

It could be a worthless effort unless we have the ability to update videos without losing page views, url, and position.

Any thoughts?
