Twitter To Restart Verification Program January 20, 2021

Twitter has confirmed its new policy for its verification program, and this includes restart from January 20, 2021.

It also says that currently verified accounts may lose verification for breaking the policies.

Now that should cut down on the fake and spam accounts.

Twitter has a HUGE backlog of verification requests, but I'm seeing plenty of those requests get approved this month. In gaming specifically Twitter has started to verify pretty small accounts. I'm seeing a few colleagues get verification approved with fewer than 30,000 followers.
