Never tried it.... always bookmark in the browser. :)
Don't like too much on my desktop!

@topr8 Simply go to the tweet itself you want to bookmark. To do that, go there by clicking on the time/date stamp on the tweet. That will open that particular message with a specific URL, and then bookmark it as you would any other specific URL.
If you want it on Win 10 on the desktop window itself, in Win 10, right click on a blank area, choose new, short cut, and copy the specific url.

@tangor .... oh sorry - i didn't mean on the desktop itself! i meant using a desktop computer not a phone - sorry for the confusion.
@engine yes thanks, although i again wasn't clear! i didn't mean bookmarking in my browser ... i meant using the inbuilt twitter bookmarks - which i can't work out how to use!

Ahhhh, on twitter, righto.
Find the tweet you want, and look next to the heart icon there what looks like a cup with an up arrow. Select that and choose to bookmark it from there.
When you want to see your bookmarked tweets go to the profile icon and you should see the Bookmarks list, where you find the other lists.

thanks so much - i could have sworn i'd previously tried that! clearly not though.... now i click it and a pop up appears with a single link: Add Tweet to Bookmarks - on other tweets there are three options! oh well i need to open my eyes wider.
... although on the subject of twitter, i can no longer seem to find a list of accounts i follow ... do you know how i find that?

Cool, glad that worked.
You should see followers and following at the home screen, probably beneath your profile picture.
