You guessed it -- I was one of the so-called unfortunate users that got stuck with the new design by default with no way to ever go back to legacy Twitter.
Was wondering how many of you here have suffered the same fate.
Pros or Cons?
The accts I manage all have the option to select legacy Twitter (at least for now)- My own acct tho' doesn't have that option.
I've also noticed that Twitter is pushing ads more aggressively (seeing them in the timeline whereas before I wasn't) -- I guess that's fine, as each of these platforms are well within their rights to annoy as many people as possible in their pursuit of money.
As far as viewing well on selected devices and in certain browsers, I've discovered that the new Twitter doesn't view well at all in the tablet or laptop using Firefox (I can see the frame-set borders in the smaller screen resolutions)
I keep social totally off of the smart phone due to privacy in relation to my clients so I'm not real sure how it would all come together there.
I'm sort of an old huckster with regard to being used to how things should look ... For instance, when MSNBC went from being a news site to being a picture site, I quit visiting -- Same with TechCrunch ... When TechCrunch went from being a genuinely well laid out build to that huge fail of giant fonts, I quit visiting there too.
So ... What do you guys think?
How do you like that new Twitter build?
