Twitter has reported a better than expected Q1 revenue of $548 million, as opposed to $512 million expected by analysts, however, its business has declined approximately 8% over the same quarter last year.

Twitter said it had added 9 million new users in the quarter, giving it a total of 328 million users.
A key figure to come out is a growth of daily active users up 14% from the same quarter last year.

Challenging time for twitter, for sure, but is it finally getting to grips with some of the problems? I'm not yet sure it is.

Are those 9M new human users or does that number include bots?

Also they are taking action on abusive accounts, but most bots tend to not be abusive. So what is better abusive human that may actually see and engage with ads or bot accounts that will charge advertisers for views without a single human ever seeing the ads?
