Mobile Optimized "Twitter Lite" Rolls Out

Twitter is rolling out Twitter Lite, a mobile optimized version aimed at low bandwidth and slow connections, which requires on 1Mb on a device.
There is also a data saver mode giving up to 70% data savings, and the ability for it to handle lost data connections without a problem.

It's not in Google Play store quite yet. I wanted to compare the lite version to the regular Twitter for Android. I don't have a bandwidth issue but I know many do.

Interesting! However for me, Twitter is not the most bandwidth sucking app and seems rather light weight as is. However I certainly welcome a lighter and faster version.

It actually runs pretty smooth on desktop -> mobile version: [mobile.twitter.com...]
