Twitter Stops Cropping Timeline Photos and Montages

Twitter has said it'll now stop automatically cropping images in the time-line, and now, the image will show in the format provided.

Additionally, multi-photo displays will now look different.

great! i spent a couple of days last week creating new (resized) images especially for twitter.

those 2 days aside, this is good news i think.

I saw some wasted images in the past because they were cropped by twitter, so this should really help, especially if you're using images as a method communicating.

Is it because they got new servers or somehow can handle more space? Or is it just because they now realize whatever original reason they had for it was not that great?
