You could create a profile for your web site in Facebook but you will find it difficult to penetrate users as it is a social networking site for friends and family, not advertisers.

Facebook does also have paid advertising but I'm not entirely sure where that would actually go other than a banner advert across some of the top pages.

I know it's much easier to successfully achieve a page on Myspace, I'll keep an eye on this post to see what others have to say about it.

How can i add a Flash banner to my facebook page?
Any one has any suggestion?

i use three place to market via facebook:

1. add items to marketplace
2. set up a group about your company or your industry,add content to attract people to get in,or just join some similar communities,participate in discussion and get noticed.
3. surely you should add reference about your site in your profile.
