I have been asked by a client to provide info about the media placements of a competitor over a defined period of time. i.e. on what sites did competitor x advertise over the past x days...
Is this possible and does anyone know of a tool that will provide this type of competitor profiling intelligence?

I see this is an older post, but spyfu is one. I don't know how accurate it is.
Hitwise is a great way to get some of this intel. You can also look at Nielsen Netratings, which shows you where folks are buying banner ads on partner networks.
