Now, I have only switched a very small site for a friend who is a niche supplier from one web host to another. For some keywords, he is page one in Google - but then the niche nature of his business probably helps that.

However, I want to switch the company web site from one host to another, because I will get better technical support and better value for money. But obviously I don't want to disappear off the radar with Google. Has anybody here experienced a dip in ranking with Google after changing site host?
