Seeing googlebot hits from new IP range

192.178.6.x - new to me

All of a sudden today I'm seeing a lot of requests (mostly pdf files) from 192.178.6.X (where X is 5, 6 and 7). They have host names such as crawl-192-178-6-5.googlebot.com. This is a legit google IP subnet. Seems to be crawling my site.

The only other time I've hits from 192.178.anything was one day last August from 192.178.10.83 and that had a google-proxy host name. Today's hits had user-agents such as

Mozilla/5.0 AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko; compatible; GoogleOther) Chrome/125.0.6422.175 Safari/537.36

Googlebot/2.1 (+http://www.google.com/bot.html)

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0.1; Nexus 5X Build/MMB29P) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/125.0.6422.175 Mobile Safari/537.36 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)

Is this a known, or new IP-range for googlebot? Like I said, it new to me.

Oh, how odd. I do find a fair handful of requests from 192.17[89] (G's sector), where “fair handful” means a few hundred, as opposed to countless thousands from the ordinary Googlebot range. Some of them are page requests; others are images from UA

(why the ### do they insist on that Firefox 11, requiring specific hole-poking? should I even bother?); but the great majority are

(wtf is that? I don't see any immediately adjacent requests from anything G-related)

Most are blocked due to minor header deficits, but in my case never bad_google because none of them has yet claimed to be any kind of Googlebot.

It is turnitin.com,

@universenet - Googlebot is coming from turnitin IPs? I would block 199.47.80.0/21, you know those aren't Google bots.

I do not block anybody
Only to who I will block if someone take resources to much that make problem for server
