I host at Godaddy and even I block most of their ranges.

Ran into a problem once when I had one of their routers accidentally blocked from switching file servers under various loads.

I'm assuming there was a robot98 at some point but it never visited my site.

@keyplyr, when I owned a hosting company back in the day we accidentally had our new anti-chatter routers (which were supposed to help stop DDOS attacks) get into a discussion with the premises equipment from L3 that connected us to the outside world. For some reason the T-3 started chattering and routers started blocking it and the whole network basically DDOS'd itself offline. When it was reset it didn't do it again, weirdest thing I ever saw.
