Use lots of words, but not long paragraphs. Short words, as much as possible. Short paragraphs. Don't link out from above the fold. Use at least 1,857 words per web page, not one word less. Even if it is for a product page.

Add lots of photos. Use CSS to make your scroll bars fat and give them a color that makes them pop out, so as to encourage them to scroll down. Your web page should be a carnival of information so don't be afraid of colors! You want your visitors to scroll down to get down to the bottom of the page. That's your goal. Get visitors scrolling. So it makes sense to make the scroll bars fat and colorful. I put a tool tip pop up to remind people to scroll down. Really, really important to make them scroll.

Does anyone know if there's a script that can automatically scroll a web page for site visitors?
