1. Site abc.com scores very high with the search engines and includes a google site verification # behind the home page.
2. New domain xyz.com simply points to abc.com.
A click on xyz.com on a search results page would take visitors to a site that displays xyz.com in the navigation window but all the content of abc.com.
The marketing idea is to provide a second path to abc.com for prospects who are looking for additional choices or who don't like the abc moniker.
MY QUESTION: is there any risk of submitting the new domain to Google and Yahoo/Bing? I don't want to set off any red lights or sirens.
