I am finding it particularly hard to locate resources to build and manage a new SEO/SEM company. It seems that 90-95% of the SEO content out there is targeted at business owners looking to drive more quality traffic to their sites rather than things like "how to effectively manage outsourcers".
As a new SEO business, how would I best compile all my know-how & tools into a step by step action plan for my customers? I know every industry & business is unique and each SEO model needs to be tweaked independently, but surely at least 50-70% of SEO tasks must be repeatable with each new customer, right?
Maybe this process is something I just need to build an Microsoft Access database for as I move forward with building the business and getting new customers.
What I'm looking for is a step by step action plan: "Step 7 Verify that top keywords are in the title" or "Step 13 Run URL through the following meta sites a. b. c. " along with the database fields for each.
How does everyone else hammer out a time/cost effective method for managing your customers SEO processes? There seem to be plenty of tools for testing & reporting ie: IBP, Raven Tools etc., but nothing for actual SEO client management.
Also, are there any sites/resources you'd recommend regarding SEO/SEM business/client management?
Any thoughts would be appreciated?
