Loss of PR due to 301 Redirection

Hello,

Recently we redirected our Static website to Word press site. We have redirected all the Urls and they all are working fine. No broken links are found. But sadly we have lost PR. (both home page and internal pages)

Will we get our lost PR back in the next google updates ? Please advise.

Which site's PR dropped; the new wordpress site?

If your redirection are set correctly (301), PR of landing (destination) site should not drop ideally; unless there is a complete change of theme on the redirected site.

Did you lose any traffic or any change in ROI? I wouldn't worry a bit about PR. That green bar won't pay your bills unless you were selling links.

AnkitMaheshwari - Yes the PR of wordpress website is gone. 301 redirects are fine.

ErnestHemingway - Traffic is not affected.

How recent? It does take some time for Google to digest 301s, especially if there are a bunch of them.

Best bets to speed up whatever PR can be recovered are to try to get any existing external links changed to point to the new URLs and build new externals. Also be sure that all internal links point directly to the new URLs and not going through the 301s.
