I have sort of a weird ranking issue.

One of my sites is in blog format, but it serves the purpose of a static information site. The keyword I am targeting is in the main domain name, but search results do not return the main page. They primarily return one article from the site. So if my keyword is "billygoat", searches for "billygoat" are returning "billygoat.com/grassy-knolls".

Is there a way I should reorganize my site? If I replaced the rolling list of articles as the landing page with a sort of "site map" landing page, would that fix it?
