Hello.

I'm a bit boggled by how and why my website traffic went down from 42,000 visits/month to 18,000 visits/month in one month? My site is not banned, I have no duplicate site or content. My keyword ranking just dropped all of a sudden in late March and it has not recovered. Has anyone experienced this before or have any ideas why this might've happened? Any help is totally appreciated! Thanks.

Find out where the drop happened.

What keywords?
What pages?
Did you lose rankings or is something seasonal in effect?

You can't post the specifics on here - the questions are more to give you a starting point.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld referendo, we only wish it were under better circumstances.

If you have a Google Webmaster Tools (GWT) account, that would be one of the first places I'd be reviewing right now. Did any changes occur prior to the drop? Anything technically related that changed?

Thanks for the response, Bradley. Good questions. It's definitely not a seasonal effect. My traffic has been really consistent the past 3 years. It was all organic keywords (related to the health care industry). Wrt, which pages -- pretty much all pages dropped equally. :o(
