I am an advertiser and I am offering a free service. For someone like myself I am looking for a good quantity of users visiting my site.

However my site could be characterized as a Dating/Social site. I have had many problems with common ad programs such as google adwords, microsoft adcenter, yahoo advertising, and adbrite. I am paying alot for gathering very few users.

In 2003-2005 era I use to be able to find a lot of sites that you could purchase a link and description for a week at a time at that time for 140 bucks at the maximum per week I would get about 1000 new users a week. Fast forward to today and I would have to probably spend upwards to about 3 grand to get those kind of results with these ad programs.

I understand paying the publisher well because its their traffic.. But all in all people who want to offer free content or get their site known is becoming increasingly difficult to do so due to such high prices. I am about to test AdEngage because they have a pay per day/week/month method. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other ad programs that I may purchase in pay per day/week/month. I am looking for social/dating targeted traffic that I can build a user base on without breaking my bank account.
