Is there any way of knowing for how many keywords my site is ranking in Google without knowing the exact keywords for the site?

There is one way, search keywords and search them one by one on Google. But is there a way by which I can know for how many keywords my site is ranking in Google and at what positions if possible?

i think you'd just have to do some searching.
one tip... you can change the max items per page to 100 and then use firefox search/highlight tool and that speeds things up a bit.

Google Webmaster Tools has a report could figure the thing you want. Maybe it's not full-scale and not real-time.

Or try to get the hints from the refer of your server logs.

There is lot of way to search keyword ranking by monitoring your search engine ranking on various keywords which your website focuses on, you can easily begin to focus your attention and search engine promotion efforts on those keywords that are rising, and include some extra promotional strategies to further improve and boost your rankings.

google analytics also keeps the record for the keyword rankings.

Its lists out all the keywords through which the visitor enters the site.

try it.
