Migrated domain, should I delist old domain?

Hi: I had a .net with around 300 pages indexed in Google, but not much inbound linking, which I moved to its equivalent .co.uk domain (.co.uk was more relevant locally, older domain, well indexed in same industry).

Everything was 301'd from .net to .co.uk

.co.uk now indexed at 300+ pages in Google, but .net remains with around 250 pages.

The .net domain no longer appears for searches other than site:..co.uk, but clearly it's still in the index.

Should I tell G to remove it, or leave it there a bit longer until I'm sure all the inbound links are switched? I'm worried about dupe content issues?

It should not be there if you have the whole thing 301'ed properly.

Do not use the removal tool. Google will delist those URLs in their own time. It can take many months. Where those URLs still appear your redirect will deliver the visitor to the correct location on your site. Leave the redirect in place for the next decade, as Google will still check out the status of URLs in its internal database from time to time.
