However I wanted to start a blog and registered a different domain (D2). I was stupid that I should have started a blog in the same domain. However by the time I realized, the second domain had already started getting good ranking and traffic.
10 months into it I realized that the domain name I bought wasn’t “fully” catering to the needs of the blog as I was expanding it day by day. So I bought an appropriate domain (D3) and did a 301 permanent redirect from (D2) to the new domain (D3) a few days back.
Today I see Google has started sending traffic to the new domain. So far so good!
The problem is I am now finding it difficult to maintain 2 websites in the same niche. So my question is should I also 301 my first domain (D1) to my current domain (D3)? Remember domain (D2) is already 301 to domain (D3).
Am I going in the right direction? What will happen if I do this? Will the domain (D1) lose its rankings? Or should I wait as I already did a 301 to the domain (D3)?

I was thinking of redirecting it to D1 (the oldest domain cos of the domain age factor), but D3 has a smart meaningful domain name keeping with all the factors/services I can implement in the future.
Thanks again.
Agreed.
