1. Use any of the hundred or so other trendy search engine manipulation techniques (in this case link building schemes)
2. Craft important, well-optimized web content; with a sound internal linking structure and make full use of the optimizable web page components. Now, do all this in a natural manner that does not hinder the qualified Internet visitor from making an initial contact for your product or services.

Google pushed newbie sites way up the SERPs for a VERY SHORT PERIOD. They could not possibly rank otherwise, because the 'normal' criteria includes age of domain, trust, and MAINLY inbound link value (passing PageRank, relevancy and possibly authority).
To acquire links without direct effort, you need good content that others want to link to.
There is no chance you have created 1k quality pages of unique, worthwhile content each and every day.
There is no chance that you have enough legitimately acquired links to produce enough PR to support those pages.
As I say, your initial ranking is a flash-in-the-pan. Please have a look over at the Google forum [webmasterworld.com], and particularly read ALL (it will take a while, but ALL) of the Google Hot Topics - FAQs [webmasterworld.com].
You experienced the honeymoon. Now you are in the sandbox. But your site is highly suspect as it is likely to be seen as spammy (IMHO) at least initially, so you will have a lot of work to do to regain that initial position.
so how it goes to spam ?
