hi,

i have a confusion regarding SS and SEO.

does adding a keyword phrase in CSS helps our SEO effort if we are not using external CSS file. for example if we add keyword phrase in the <style> attribute. will it help?

is external CSS file crawled? if i add keywords to external CSS file, will it help?

thanks

I would have to say no on this. Although I haven't personally ran any controlled experiments on this I would have to say the engines put little to no weight for your keyword density within your CSS tags. Concentrate more on your content itself and use keyword within alt and title tags.

Name the CSS elements naturally, if it's good for SEO, great, if not, you still have CSS elements that are easy to understand.
