- Should i have a separate site for the U.K.
- How different does the text have to be?
- Can the site have the same structure, page names etc just different text?
I'll also want to hit other countries in the EU. Should i buy other domain ext or just have sub folders like domain.co.uk/SP, FR, IT etc.
What's the best way to go about this?
There are good reasons for doing this, it means that all your SEO and marketing efforts are within the one website, as opposed to having to do twice the work by promoting 2 entirely different websites.

That's what i've been reading.
But.... i still need to target similar phrases in the UK. Would i have a UK home page under domain/uk.
I'm currently doing domain/fr and domain/es but domain/uk is a little harder to achieve since it's in English as well.
Should i have a whole under the UK folder? Won't it be weird for the user if he removes the UK and visits the domain?
If you where to do this effectively .com site would be different depending on where the user comes from. Often when you see a site using this they have an option to change setting (location)

Option 1
re-writing my entire site for mydomain.co.uk. 30+ pages
Option 2
Having a new home page under domain/uk. 1-3 UK centric pages
Will google know that we're in the UK by the subfolder and rank mydomain.com much better in the UK?
