First, how many articles and article directories should I submit to in order to drive constant traffic from search engine?
I have submitted 8 articles to about total 150 article directories. And my site ranked 2440,000 at Alexa.
Secondly, does social bookmarking take more time or less time to drive traffic than article marketing? Many websites claim that social bookmarking can help my site indexed by Google very fast. Is it truth? Or it just a rumor?
The last question is, does content help drive traffic to my website? Will my website get more traffic if I have more content?
And, compare the importance between article marketing and content building. which method is the more effective way to drive traffic? And which method can drive more targeted traffic to my site?
Regardless of the forms of marketing selected, content is relatively critical. Essentially, without content that people find worthy of linking to, you're always going to be fighting an uphill battle, as you'll be reduced to getting links from friends, barter deals, article directories, blog comments, paid directories, etc.
But what will serve your site best over time are one-way inbound links from quality sites -- ideally sites that are fairly relevant to yours. Those links will drive your rankings higher, faster. In order to get them you need quality content that reputable, quality sites find worthy of linking to.
So it's a bit of a balance as to how you spend your valuable time and money, but I always start with getting minimum acceptable levels of quality content before embarking on much of a marketing program.
My 2 cents.
