IMHO it would be poor practice to have your domain name appear as text only, particularly with no hyperlink from the other site(s), the easy thing to have the bot do is take it as a mark against the domain - 'why is it being mentioned but not hyperlinked?' too easy to assume it's being mentioned in a bad light.

Here's a free tip: Have external sites link valuable keyword phrases to your site, this means having them make the anchor of the link something like 'home delivered groceries', they can put the URL in plain text near that link with no harm to positive effect this has.
