It looks weird to use the singular and plural in the same sentence, but super natural to use on the same page. For example:

At X company we offer some-services for small and medium sized businesses. Whether you are looking for a fully-automated some-service or a manual some-service, we have every type of services for your business.

and in the <title>
Some-service - Company X: quality some-services for your business

i think it is much better to choose between the two terms and your basis must be the traffic each term is getting..
IMO, it is not good that you'll optimize your site for those two keywords...your content might not look user-friendly in the end and possibly be penalized by google for keyword stuffing.

Optimizing a single page for multiple keywords is perfectly ok and is totally different than keyword stuffing. Most people try to optimize signle pages for multiple keywords (or keyword phrases). It's perfectly natural to mention multiple keywords or keyword phrases on the same page for which you'd like rank.

"I like blue widgets. Blue widgets make the word go round. Blue widgets are great, and today I'm going to buy blue widgets cuz blue widgets make me happy. I dream blue widgets.." - keyword stuffing.

I don't see the logic in the statement that it is better to chose between 2 terms and only optimize a page for a single term.
